Revegetation Plant Production

Revegetation plant production is at the core of the Natural Area nursery which can propagate over 600 different native plant species including many recalcitrant species from endemic seed and cuttings. Average production rates are in excess of 1,300,000 plants per annum.

Native Plant Production

We provide native plant stock tailored to the needs of revegetation and restoration projects in Western Australia. Our expertise includes premium coastal, wetland, and woodland species, with a particular focus on those native to the Swan Coastal Plain.

Not limited to planting, our team delivers comprehensive, end-to-end restoration solutions – from consultation and site preparation to vegetation installation, maintenance, and ongoing monitoring.

Germination Trials

The process of seed germination can be complex and is influenced by many factors.

Natural Area strive to provide a wide range of native species for commercial revegetation and achieve this by continually experimenting with germination techniques and methodologies. We focus on species which are recalcitrant and notoriously difficult to grow by seed, we also trial cuttings from these species.
